In September 2017, our lovely students competed in a friendly competition at Bankstown Sports Club. This day gave our students good stage experience, a chance to perform for family and to wear their latest costumes, and to top it all off, to win awards. Best of all was the fun aspect – everyone including the teachers, enjoyed the day.
Our 2017 End of Year Performance was a success with many pleased parents commenting on how much the children have improved. Following this all our students were presented with awards for their efforts during the year. Our exam students completed another year of dance examinations with 100% pass rate. What a great way to end the year!
This year, 2018, we will be entering a classical ballet bursary competition at Bankstown Sports Club, where students can enter as a group and perform as a group on the stage but be judged individually and compete for prizes. Bursary work will be taught in class and extra lessons will also be required closer to the competition date.
Also, this year we will be offering a Combo class consisting of Beginner Cheerleading/Stretch/Jazz, a 5 to 8 years Funky Jazz class, and a Musical Theatre class for all ages. This of course is subject to enrolment numbers.
